The Fifth Clayton Equipment hybrid CBD90 tonne Bo-Bo locomotive capable of moving 2,500 tonnes with battery charging undertaken from a 3-phase supply, providing 100% emission free solutions or from the low emission, EU stage V Diesel engine, has been collected today by Allelys to join the Tata Steel UK, Port Talbot fleet.
The steelworks fleet will eventually include a total of seven Hybrid locomotives supplied from Clayton Equipment.
