Clayton Equipment recently received a visit from a group of rail enthusiasts. The visit organised over a year ago by one of their members who has been visiting Clayton for over twenty-five years including the former premises in Hatton. Many of the visitors had travelled from Yorkshire.

Managing Director, Clive Hannaford provided insight on the current hybrid CBD90 Class 18 locomotives currently in build for Beacon Rail and other locos in build for worldwide export.

Behind the group in the photo are the Class 18 hybrid locomotives, (3) currently waiting delivery and locomotives (4) and (5) in build.

The members were enthralled with the visit asking many interesting and pertinent questions.

They all expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and the time devoted to showing them how Clayton Equipment operates.
